Oaxaca Interests to Redevelop West Dallas Warehouse Into Dining & Retail Destination

Dallas-based development company to repurpose former refrigeration company building into a creative, indoor-outdoor space near its flagship Sylvan | Thirty development

Oaxaca Interests, a Dallas-based investment, development and asset management company, has plans to redevelop the old W&B Refrigeration Service Company building, located at 660 Fort Worth Avenue (at Yorktown Street) in West Dallas, into a creative dining and retail space. The original brick and metal structure, as well as its former loading areas, will be transformed into a family- and pet-friendly, indoor-outdoor destination.

“We hope to build off the momentum we’ve created with Sylvan | Thirty to create a new place for diverse communities to gather with family and friends,” said Brent Jackson, President of Oaxaca Interests.

The firm is seeking 2-5 tenants for the 10,000-square foot, one-acre project, located next door to its flagship Sylvan | Thirty mixed-use development.

“The flexibility of the space, as well as its indoor and outdoor components, is perfectly suited for a food hall, beer garden and several smaller retailers and food artisans,” added Jackson.

Internationally-recognized architects Lake Flato and award-winning landscape architects Hocker Design Group will join forces again to lead the development’s design. Both firms previously collaborated on Sylvan | Thirty.
