Oaxaca Interests Begins Construction on Creative Dining and Retail Space in West Dallas

Dallas-based development company to convert a former refrigeration company building into a family-friendly destination near its flagship Sylvan | Thirty development

Oaxaca Interests, a Dallas-based investment, development and asset management company, has started construction on the old W&B Refrigeration Service Company building located at 660 Fort Worth Avenue (at Yorktown Street) in West Dallas. The original 10,000-square foot industrial warehouse, as well as its former loading areas, will be transformed into a modern dining, retail and entertainment destination.

“This space will be a progressive and contemporary place for several smaller retailers and food artisans to serve our local community. We already have half of the building leased, and we’re actively talking with other prospective tenants to fill the rest,” said Brent Jackson, President of Oaxaca Interests.

Internationally-recognized architects Lake Flato and award-winning landscape architects Hocker Design Group have teamed up to lead the development’s design. Both firms previously collaborated on Sylvan | Thirty. Additionally, Crimson Building Company has been hired as the general contractor.
