Investors and developers gathered to speak about their successes and plans for the area
Brent Jackson, President of the Dallas-based investment, development and asset management company Oaxaca Interests, participated in a D Magazine's Dallas-Fort Worth Real Estate Review Roundtable Discussion to provide insight into the explosive growth and development occurring in Southern Dallas County.
Jackson was joined by seven other development and investment pioneers on the panel who each serve as company leaders committed to strengthening the southern part of the city.
“Anywhere that you can find socioeconomic diversity, I think you’re better suited for a long-term investment. South Dallas has those elements, so that’s why we’ve put a lot of capital in,” said Jackson during the roundtable conversation. “As we continue to move forward, I think we’re going to see more growth—I think we’ve just scratched the surface.”
Oaxaca Interests currently has several land holdings in West Dallas, including the active pursuit of redeveloping the Chase Bank building located across the street from flagship development Sylvan | Thirty.
